MMG Services

MMG’s Marine Services Division is a key component of the group and has created a niche for itself in the shipping industry. It was the first Saudi company to offer a fully serviced fleet of vessels with dedicated equipment and skilled manpower to service Saudi Aramco's offshore projects. Today MMG is serving a large number of clients; prominent among them are Saudi Aramco, Qatar Petroleum, Saipem, Barwill, National Petroleum Construction Company, J.Ray McDermott, Global Rushaid, Mcdowell Schlumberger.

Marine Division operates in the area of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning for Offshore Platform and all marine related tasks. It has been providing maintenance, hook-up and commissioning and drilling support for oil rigs since 1960.

MMG-owned vessels

Marine Division owns a large fleet consisting of crew boats, supply boats, work boats and anchor handling tug supply boat. Plans are afoot to expand the fleet to meet the growing demands of the clients.

Offshore Construction and Maintenance Services

The Marine Division is recognized for the delivery of services associated with the installation and maintenance of offshore facilities. The scope of work currently covers offshore equipment and skilled labor, contingency procurement planning, specialized fabrication work, as well as providing expertise on preassembly, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning assistance.

Marine Agency Service

Marine Agency Service for inward and outward clearances of vessels including administration, logistic and technical support are provided and coordinated at MMG Headquarters in Dammam. With Marine Agency office strategically located within the locality of Ras Tanura Port, our team of Government Liaison Officers with years of experience are ready to process all necessary vessels and cargo clearance formalities of the clients.

MMG is equipped to clear all vessels coming from outside the Kingdom directly to Ras Tanura Port for onward sail to all Saudi Aramco fields without needing clearance from Dammam Commercial Port, thus, saving substantial shipping costs and precious time of the clients.

Crew Change Services

With an excellent logistic support from MMG’s Travel Division and Equipment Services, we can cater to the needs of all vessel owners’ crew change needs in areas of flight arrangements, seamen OK-to-board documents, meet-and-assist at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, clearance of vessel crew through customs, coast guards and immigration.

Safety, Security and Quality

Marine Services Division and its fleet fully comply with all the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) including the International Safety Management (ISM) Code and the International Code for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities (ISPS).

MMG’s conformity to all the codes and safety and security measures let the Saudi Government to issue a document of compliance to the group and a Safety Management Certificate (SMC) to the entire fleet.

All the MMG-owned vessels are also certified by the Flag States Administration for meeting the requirements of the ISPS Code and each vessel has been issued with an international Ship Security Certificate.

With these excellent safety and security record and tailor-made packages for the clients, MMG’s Marine Services Division is positioned to retain its place as pioneer in the filed of marine services with its top priority being complete satisfaction of its clients.
